Perfect place for exploring Beijing, near the river park and the subway station. The staff are always helpful and welcoming. The Shadow Theatre shows in the evening are really awesome. We had never seen anything of the sort. Wonderful. Other nice workshops are organised in the lobby: puppets, calligraphy, cooking... Our teenage son (18) also stayed on his own at the hotel for one week, while getting professional sports training in town. The staff helped him order takeaway dinner and everything else too. He felt like being home. Feng and Jerry, from the staff, stayed in contact with us via WeChat to confirm that our son was always doing well. What more can you ask? Coffee and tea are free. You can even bring your own food and have your meal in the beautiful lobby. We stayed almost three weeks in total and we'll do it again if we were to return to Beijing. Highly recommended!

Great spot nestled the historical hutongs of Beijing! Tom has been one of a kind, made our stay even more unforgettable getting us a seat into the great wall tour when most of the entrance were closed due to weather conditions. He so patiently supported us and secured two seats for the day after. Very highly recommended. Thank you Tom!
