Location! Sitting on one of the three lakes in Bedugul. The owners were very friendly and even cooked dinner for us as there is limited restaurants nearby. This homestay is amazing and I'd recommend it to anyone!

Staying at Kibubu was beyond all expections, they managed to make all 3 of us happy, my mom who needs somewhere clean, stylish and peaceful, my dog who needs a dog friendly facility near nature to go running and me who is all about good coffee and good food! We had one of their 2 deluxe bungalows facing the Buyan lake, they had prepared our 2 single beds and even a bed for my dog. My dog is still young and got along so well with the adorable fur family of the hosts. The bungalows are 5 minutes from the entrance of a nature park by the lake in a beautiful forest where I went running early morning with my dog in the refreshing temperature at this altitude. I had rented a car for our weekend away, and the access from the main road of Bedugul was super easy and their large parking lot at the entrance made our arrival even easier. Special mention also to all the locally sourced ingredients used in making breakfast and dinner. Thanks to the all the farms all around, we went picking strawberries on our last day, after exploing Jatiluwih rice terraces and Bedugul temple during our stay.

We strongly recommend everyone to go to Kibubu for ever! The bungalows are new (March 2025), very comfortable and very nicely decorated with nice view on the lake. Nathalie and Jean-Louis (English and french speaking 😅) are the nicest host in Bali ! Very dedicated to the wellbeing of the clients, they prepared for us excellent dinner and breakfast (everything was homemade) and organized visit with driver and guide. We particularly liked the time and long discussion we had together. We learned a lot about Indonesia and local food with them. Of course, this review won’t be complete if we don’t mention the great staff and the amazing pets (Choupette for ever!!). We were sad to leave Kibubu today and will come back! Kibubu for ever!

Most important is its, doggy friendly 👌🏼 perfect we can bring our dog 🐶 The location is right in front of Lake Buyan, very quiet & nice clean air. The cottage is fairly new & everything were well taken care. The cleanliness is spot on. We took the complete package with breakfast and their petit dejeuner comes with freshly baked bread plus cheeses 🧀 delish 👌🏼
