Hotel Overview

The Kingfisher is a riverside pub with rooms located on the River Great Ouse, just 9.9 miles from the M1 and 8.1 miles from A1.
The tranquil setting offers views of the River Great Ouse and the local country park. The team pride themselves on offering simple, friendly service with delicious food, wines and cask ales. A particular treat is to relax on the terrace in the warmer months adjacent to the river over dinner or a few drinks with family and friends.
The Kingfisher champion quality ingredients sourced as locally as possible. With meat travelling under 15 miles and fruits delivered from just a mile away. With dining spaces both inside and out you are sure to find a comfy corner to enjoy a leisurely lunch or casual dinner and drinks of an evening.
Bedroom options are doubles, kings and suites, each comfortably furnished with spacious bathrooms. Guests can relax with a TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities in every room.
The Kingfisher is just 10 minutes drive from the M1 motorway, and is located close to Woburn Abbey, which is set in a beautiful 3,000 acre deer park and houses an impressive private collection of art, furniture and porcelain. Woburn Safari Park is filled with exotic animals and features both a safari drive and foot safari.

Friendly and helpful staff. Dinner good Initially worried that noise from wedding venue might be a problem. But not on the occasion I stayed there. Physical separation distance made it ok
