I lived in Provence for a while so I know the region and the climate quite well. I came back to visit family, revisit some of the beautiful towns and villages in Provence and to relax. This was the perfect place to unwind - a real little gem in Provence. Monique, who owns the property along with her husband, really made our stay so enjoyable. She was always on hand to help and give advice about the region and places to visit. Monique has good knowledge of the region - she is a true provencale lady. She really provided everything we could possibly need for our stay and made us feel so welcome. The property is very well maintained with nice gardens, making a perfect, tranquil setting for relaxing and unwinding. We found that the beautifully clean pool offered a lovely way to cool off after visiting the sights and surrounding towns and villages. - the house is very well located for sightseeing. Lounging on the sunbeds, with only the sound of cicadas,,was also a great way to unwind The property is also only a short walk into Beddarides centre where there are some shops as well as restaurants and bars that overlook the river. We had a wonderful holiday at this property and couldn't believe how much the outside area and the appartment had to offer. From the large pool, the well equipped outside kitchen, the lovely shady eating area to the lovely compact air conditioned apartment with a very comfy bed.. Everything you need is there, including the most charming welcome from the owners. I would highly recommend this property if you want to relax and take in some of the sights in Provence. The owners have created a lovely haven in Provence. A real gem !
