Lovely quirky rooms and a bar downstairs .the only downside of beccles is a shortage of good eating places

We stayed in a beautiful room with a great wet room and bathtub. It was very well decorated and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the historic nature of the building and the efforts to highlight some of the things that had happened there over the centuries.

All the rooms are beautifully done and delightfully quirky. This is an old building which has been carefully and tastefully restored. We had bikes for which good storage was provided and a plug we could use to recharge the bikes' batteries. Our luggage was to be collected and the owner arranged for that to happen despite the place being closed in the morning.
