I am a regular guest at the Goldener Anker, to me personally, this family hotel provides a warm experience every time I pass by. It might not be for everybody, however I appreciate the personal touches and historic setting.

A beautiful, old-school hotel in the very centre of the city, right next to the famous Margrave Opera House. The greatest figures have stayed here: Richard Wagner, Richard Strauss, Mark Twain... Delicious breakfasts served at your table, charming staff and the unique atmosphere of a place steeped in history.

I love the old charm of the Hotel. Nothing that works has been replaced. It's like spending time in the past - and I, for one, enjoy that. The a la carte breakfast is always a highlight.
