IGNAS “This is not a hotel more like a mix of motel and trailer”

Not a hotel but it is not as bad as some of the comments say. That is to say that you need to spend 1 night in the region and you're ok with Motel/Trailer/Guesthouse type of accomodation. They have even invested in a 24\7 check-in machine, so you'll have no problems with the late check-ins.The room is compact but it is clean. The shower curtain will stick to your ass once you're in the cabin. But everything works. The bed and linen are worn out. But they are clean. It could have been pretty noisy at night if someone threw a party since the room is far from sound proof. Thankfully in our case we were probably among the other unlucky bastards that most likely couldn't find anything at a reasonable price range for 1 night in the region during the french (maybe spanish as well) vacation season one day before (so stupid of us).

Not cheap but best I could find for 3 guests within walking distance of Bayonne city centre. Clean & comfortable enough. Secure parking compound for car with bikes attached.

This hotel is very convenient in terms of price and means of transport, since there is a bus stop in the nearest proximity. The bus trip to the train station and city centre only takes like 15 minutes or less. The hotel facilities are basic but sufficient. It provides breakfast, which is great since it is situated in an industrial park. The staff are very attentive and there is an automated key dispenser outside of working front desk hours.
