Hotel Cote de Basque is ideally situated for a visit to Bayonne and the surrounding area. We arrived by air at Biarritz and a number 3 bus drops you right outside the hotel. Once at the accomodation it is within easy walking distance of Bayonne centre and the sites and superb number of restaurants and cafes. It us just beside Gare de Bayonne. We were able to get trains into the countryside and do superb walking in the mountains. It would also be possible to get buses to the coast and the major resorts. The rooms we had were very comfortable with air conditioning, which was wonderful at the time of our visit. We choose breakfast, which was excellent and good value for money. The staff were very helpful and polite. The hotel provided storage of our large luggage items while we went hiking. Communications were prompt, clear, and helpful. Overall, it was a tremendous establishment to stay with.

Very good location. So near to station & bus stop. Close to town & restaurants. All the staff were really friendly & helpful. Breakfast was very good. Lovely coffee, lots of tea choices, fresh bread, fruit salad & yoghurts. Would recommend.
