Hotel Overview

This 18th-century hotel is situated in the heart of Bayeux. It is set back from the road, ensuring guests the calmness of the countryside. Free Wi-Fi access is available for 1 device per room.
The rooms at the Hotel d'Argouges are divided between three buildings offering a soothing view of the garden or the yard. It features satellite TV and a private bathroom.
Breakfast is served in the living room which features preserved floorboards, woodwork, a fireplace and a period mirror. When the weather is fine enough, it can also be enjoyed in the hotel's lush garden.
Being mostly spared by the ravages of WWII, Bayeux has preserved its heritage and rich architecture. Guests can discover the famous Tapisserie of Queen Mathilde, Notre-Dame cathedral, Baron Gerard's museum, and the memorial of the Battle of Normandy.

Everything - the building, its aspect, location (bang in the centre of Bayeux), staff, facilities, cleanliness of hotel room and public areas, ease of access by road and availability of on-site secure parking

Fantastic location for a visit to Bayeux…. Very well appointed rooms, lovely staff members and an excellent breakfast made this a perfect stop along our way through Normandy.

This is a gorgeous property right in the heart of Bayeux. Our room was in an additional building next to the main house and the room was quite nice with a comfortable bed. We could eat a picnic lunch out in the garden and order a glass of wine each night in the main part of the hotel. There is parking onsite.
