The apartment was absolutely wonderful. The location is great to explore Bayeux, since it's right in the city center on one of the main streets and also in walking distance to the train station. It is also super easy to get to the square, where most of the D-Day Tours and other tours take off, so that is very convenient. The apartment is so cozy, clean and with a lot of attention to detail, so you can't help but feel right at home. A couple of heaters make it very warm and comfortable, even when it's still cold outside. The room is spacious with a comfy bed and a very large bathroom. There is everything you need from plates, glasses, pots, pans, coffee maker to bed linen, towels, even an extra blanket and a hair dryer, which is just perfect. The large windows are soundproof, so you don't really hear the busy main street and it is quiet at night anyways. Yannick is a wonderful and kind host who will meet you at the apartment. He is very communicative and it is very easy to ask questions and coordinate a good time for your arrival. I would definitely recommend staying in this lovely authentic and historic apartment when you visit Bayeux.

Self catering - location in the centre of Bayeux is excellent. Had a little trouble finding the apartment but probably our fault. The 'period' apartment is quite basic but everything works, i.e. hot water, sink, shower, fridge, toilet etc. The owner, Yannick speaks English and is very helpful.

A beautiful apartment right in the middle of Bayeux, lovely furniture, wide wood floorboards, and large french windows, almost want to stay its so cosy.
