Location. Just a few walk from the church and the train station. We were happy to be based in Baveno compared to Stresa which is busy. The apartment is huge and it is well-maintained. You have to personally present yourselves in Stresa to verify your identity. But it was quick. You will visit that town anyway.

The assistance given by Anna and her response was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Even after I checked out and had a mix up with my train she ordered a taxi for me which saved the day!

We liked everything, great location, beautiful view. The apartment was very clean, kitchen well equipped. Our host was very helpful and reaponded fast when we needed help finding Taxi.:)
