Location is excellent for walking around the city. It was also very useful to have a long stay car park nearby - there is no parking at the hotel due to ongoing refurbishment. Room was a good size, there was good light especially with 2 windows Bed was comfy. Bathroom on the smaller side, but very clean. Breakfast was very good. The Emberwood restaurant is elegant and inviting. Service was polite and efficient.

Firstly thanks to Jasmine for facilitating us so well & check in & throughout. We stayed here a few years ago & it’s an excellent location. It’s undergoing a major refurbishment & so far it’s fab! No disturbance from on going works. We had 1 of the new rooms - very tastefully done, comfortable & spacious. The bathroom was a bit small but not a show stopper! We had dinner in their new restaurant Emberwood on one night & it was amazing. A shout out to Jill who looked after us so well. Breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh choices. Final thanks to Reguar the night porter - a great young man!
