Our stay at the wheatsheaf was wonderful! Such a relaxing stay, amazing food and very friendly relaxed staff. The menu is well thought out and we just wish we could have stayed longer! Highlight was the owners gorgeous doggies keeping us company at breakfast.

Great and personable welcome. Facilities and amenities well explained. Clean and comfy room. Loved the extras ....fresh milk in the fridge and no limit on tea bags with a cafeteria, ground coffee and cookies 🍪!! Bathrobes and slippers included. We were made to feel very welcome in a relaxed environment. Lovely breakfast.

Lovely full English included with the price of the stay. Staff were lovely and friendly. Great restaurant. Would recommend to anyone, much more relaxing than staying in the city centre! 5 stars!
