The location is excellent, close to the central railway station and public transport stops. The room is very nice, clean and well equipped (eg. with coffee machine). Beds are exceptionally comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend this place!

Hotel Metropol is in an excellent location, two minutes from Basel SBB and right next to the main tram stop serving the city. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms spacious and comfortable. Breakfast on the 8th floor was excellent. I will definitely book again when I’m next in Basel.

Clean, had everything needed in room, fridge and kettle much appreciated, very friendly staff. Very close to the train station, ideal for an early train.
