The hotel is impeccably clean and well appointed. The staff are multi-lingual, courteous, and accommodating. The hotel itself is just off the Market Square which puts everything within easy walking distance.

The location is excellent in the spite of the fact that the hotel has no garage. There is a public parking in the proximity , but is not too large and very crowded.

Location is great. Good restaurant downstairs too. The room size was good, but I did have to book a more expensive room to get a decent size. I was there for a 3 day event, and like all hotels, the price did not reflect the standard of the hotel. Just the usual ridiculous price hikes. Really good choice of restaurants that served local food within close proximity. Shopping in the area is fantastic. Good quantity and variety of local quality shops. Basel is a beautiful little city.
