The location of the hotel was overall good. There was a nice park in front and a tram stop as well as grocery stores nearby. Also there was a common room on the ground floor with a backyard which looked quite cozy. Generally, the accommodation is suitable for budget travelers and you shouldn’t have high expectations

Cozy with kitchen room was really nice, spacious and quite quiet, with all equipment needed. No problem with self checkout. Very nice common area. Location is great, walkable distance from the main attractions and free bus tickets with a Basel card.

The room was decent, but there was no AC, so you had to rely on the fan for ventilation durring summer. The building it's actually quite old, but the overall settings were acceptable. The pricing site was definitely the highlight. It was somewhat worth renting a hotel instead of trying to get a locker at the train station with my luggage, and that's why we chose to do it. The location is near Center and the Old Town of the ciry. It’s not the typical old gold village you might imagine, but it has its own charm and style. Basel isn’t that big, so getting around was manageable.
