The property was picturesque, very quiet and tranquil. Had lots of grounds where you could walk and see the most panoramic and beautiful views.

Words simply cannot begin to express the beauty of this manor. We had the pleasure of staying in the Stables for 1 night which was so beautifully and stylishly decorated with an Incredible open shower. You’re surrounded by beauty no matter where you are on the grounds, as if you had been transported to a Jane Austen novel. Every member of staff were incredible and so welcoming and friendly, allowing us to feel at home and relaxed during our stay. They even encouraged the use of the piano which my partner thoroughly enjoyed and played for hours. We stayed for 1 night and spent our time exploring the house, the church, the gardens (absolutely breathtaking) and being mesmerised by the array of peacocks, hens, chicks, ducks and alpacas. There are not many venues where you can do nothing and still be entertained and blown away, Gileston manor is the exception. Simply sitting in the garden is an experience in itself. We even came across a giant wooden swing with a sea view which further encouraged the feeling of being in a fairytale. I cannot recommend this venue enough, words do no justice.

Beautiful grounds. Staff very friendly and welcoming. The manor was lovely, clean and comfortable. Loved walking round the grounds. Plenty of parking.
