Everything about this hotel is brilliant, and it is the best value place we stayed in on our trip. As well as all the basics being in place, it is well run despite being very busy. The vibe is bustling but chilled, quiet but in walking distance of eateries and the main road out. Perfect.

I don't remember asking for a quiet room on this occasion. Unfortunately we were over the entrance to the Reception and people gathered there to smoke, even at 3.30am and so their voices travelled during the stillness of the night so it wasn't a quiet room.

I have stayed at many Premiere Classe hotels over the years, because they are generally both cheap, predictable, good value for money and ideal for a one-night stop-over. This one as in a different league – apart from the price, which remained excellent value. The manager explained that they had only recently joined the Premiere Classe franchise, having been in business for some 10 years. Hope they succeed in maintaining the high standard...and the low price.

Stayed here many times, it is convenient for onward travel,good value, simple but sufficient breakfast and as it's on a commercial area there are plenty of restaurants at hand. Chartres centre is a great place to visit and only about 5 miles away.
