Please be advised that from October to mid-may the road via the Tourmalet Pass (road between Barèges et La Mongie) is closed, meaning that the property is 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from La Mongie ski lift.Please note that evening meals must be booked in advance.The restaurant is closed on Thursday evenings.

The breakfasts were great, nice variety, nice extra touches like freshly made smoothie's and really good coffee. Fruit teas etc were also available. Our hosts were very considerate and regularly offered more coffee or a re-fresh of anything else we might need.

After a long car drive through a huge storm we arrived at this lovely small hotel and immediately had a warm welcome by the owner. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious enough for the two of us, with two balconies facing the main road but with the double-glazed windows noise is not a problem. The room does not have AC but in June and in the mountains that was not a problem and the central heating during the night was perfect. The room has a tea/coffee maker. It is possible to have meals if booked in advance. The owner was friendly and helpful with hints and suggestions on where to go and what to see. The parking in front of the hotel was full but there is more car parking just a minute from the hotel. Would certainly return and recommend!

Hosts were super welcoming, great for advice and recommendations Breakfast was superb - of all places we stayed and that is an extensive list over Europe, Asia, USA/ Canada, Australia this location had the best breakfast by far in terms of the quality and presentation We had dinner one night and our regret was we did not have on our first night as well - top quality - our compliments to Natille and Phillipe

My family loved this hotel. The owners were so helpful with tips on hikes and activities in the area. They are also amazing cooks. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners. Honestly some of the best food we had on our 2 week trip in France. Thank you for a lovely stay.
