Wim “beautiful view on lake Barcis”

This townhouse has a beautiful view on lake Barcis and the mountains. Unfortunately the water level in the lake is quite low, due to construction work. It is a very nice Italian house, very clean and well-groomed with an eye for detail. We also received a warm welcome from the owner. Although the house is close to a road, the traffic noise is limited: only in the weekend at daytime there was regular traffic. The house is surprisingly cool, which is a plus in the summer! The house comes with an easy reachable parking spot.

It was clean and comfortable, fully equipped with utensils you might need during a longer stay, and really spacious. The surroundings are well maintained and were all green during our stay. Really nice view on the lake and mountains from one of the bedrooms (there are 2). There is a private parking like 30m away, also well maintained. With a short walk via the nearby picnic area you can get to the small town of Barcis, taking a path just next to the lake. We really enjoyed our stay!

Brilliant location overlooking Lake Barcis, short walk from the town & facilities. Very good restaurant close by which was reasonably priced with good food & wine. Good communication from the host & handy parking near to the property, house had everything needed during the stay. Added bonus our 2no dogs were welcome to stay also for a small extra charge.

Very spacious and comfortable traditional home. Michele the host was very helpful and generous. The home made a good base for walking in the area. We were able to walk to two good restaurants locally.
