This is a wonderful villa in a quiet and peaceful location set in well kept private gardens. It is probably one of the best I've ever stayed in. Every night we watched the sunset and moon rise. The pool, play area and mini football pitch make it an ideal location for a family holiday. Hugo, the villa owner, was very helpful with some excellent recommendations for beaches, restaurants and local supermarkets. Panque is ideally located for visits to the beach, Ponte de Lima, Barcelos and Porto. This is a real "get away from it all" holiday and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

A warm welcome from Mr. Hugo, who during our stay was ready to help us and advise us on interesting trips. A beautiful garden with equipment for children (playground, slide...) and a great pool. The house has a great atmosphere.

Hugo, the host, very warmly welcomed us to his stunning villa, despite us coming very late. We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful stay and regretted not staying longer. The villa is immaculate, spacious and quite traditional. The stone build kept the villa cool. Kitchen is well equipped, huge and we used it often. It is the grounds that really made this place special. They are extensive, extremely well maintained and completely secluded, with many areas to sit and relax! There was a mini football pitch, swimming pool and other facilities that were used often by our kids. Just stunning! Only thing a missing is a proper outdoor BBQ area but I'm only nit-picking here as a small bbq was available. Hugo made sure we were well looked after and was always within reach to provide helpful information and plan visits. I would recommend a car as there are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. Really recommend this place and thanks again to Hugo and his family for making our stay special!
