First of all, the hotel’s location is excellent, the rooms are clean, and the staff are extremely attentive — they are always ready to help with anything you need. However, calling this a 5-star hotel is simply not accurate. We honestly couldn’t understand how it received a 5-star rating. To begin with, the hotel barely has a proper lobby. Most of the space seems to be rented out, and anyone — whether they are a hotel guest or not — can freely use areas that should normally be exclusive to guests. Upon check-in, we were not informed about any facilities, mainly because there aren’t really any. The gym and spa were apparently under renovation. The terrace is just an empty, meaningless space — there isn’t even a bar or any kind of setup there. If you arrive late at night, there is no visible security at the entrance. The main door simply opens when you scan your room card, which raises serious concerns. We paid around €400 per night and ended up staying in a very small room that didn’t even get sunlight. We were clearly misled by the “5-star” label — this place is, at best, a 3-star city hotel. Would I stay here again? Honestly, yes — but definitely not at this price. There are far better hotels in this price range. We were influenced by the photos and thought we would be staying in a charming, authentic place, but it seems the images mostly reflect common areas rather than the actual rooms. On top of that, we were not given the room we selected during booking; instead, we were assigned a smaller one. If I had paid half the price, I would consider this hotel absolutely perfect. But at this rate, it simply does not deliver what it promises. It lacks even the most basic features expected from a 5-star hotel — such as a proper lobby or adequate security. Thank you.
