The host was very nice and helpful, we even could store our baggage on the last day after check out. There was daily cleening, our toilet was broken, but we arrived late at night, so didn't ask for inmediate repair, but the next day it was fixed, even without asking for it.

The room was good value for money and close to the train station, which was ideal for arriving into Barcelona late at night via train. It's basic but clean and the staff were helpful.

This was the best hostal I have ever seen in Spain! Since 16 years I visit hostals in Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante and Valencia - and this one was the best one! Why? Because the toilets are VERY CLEAN - the cleaning lady comes every day and is cleaning your room, your sink and all the toilets and showers. And the place is VERY SAFE! The neighburhood is safe too - but you cannot enter just like this. There is 24/7 a person at the hostal who will open the main entrance from the building. And the staff is very nice, friendly.
