Good location to walk to main sites of interest. Staff went above and beyond to facilitate our stay and showed a real passion for supporting and advising visitors. Carlos in particular advised where to visit, eat and shop. All of which meant we as a family had a great stay in Barcelona

Nicely sized and well appointed room. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast and they made breakfast available for us earlier on the morning of our departure. Called taxi for us too. Room and hotel was quiet and we slept well. Most places to visit were either in walking distance or a cheap taxi ride away. Shower and bath water plentiful and hot.

The room was clean. The towels changed daily. There was a safe, fridge and good WiFi . The staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was free coffee and tea available 24 hr a day. The response to questions prior to visiting was excellent.

It was very centrally located for walking around the city centre. It was very clean, freshly decorated and comfortable. Very quiet at night-time for sleeping. The breakfast selection was well-presented and tasty. Carlos was very friendly and helpful on arrival & told us useful information for getting about Barcelona & suggested eating places too. He also organised our taxi pick-up for the airport. We loved Barcelona, will definitely return, and will stay at Casa Balmes again!
