The property was well located and the room was good however the exterior was a building site and looked a bit sad on arrival

The location was perfect for me with its proximity to the Forest of Fontainebleau, where I spent most of my time.

We never saw the staff/host, but they left the key in the postbox for us. Room was reasonably clean. Very good location in Barbizon. You need a car though because taxis are not easy to find and neither are the buses.
