Kalighat River House exceeded our expectations! Set in Australian bushland with gorgeous water views, it was the ideal combination of adventure and relaxation. We spent our days fishing (caught Flathead, Bream and Blue Swimmer Crabs), hiking, and puzzling. Both hiking to the natural thermal pools and having BBQs with our fresh catches were highlights of our stay. Kalighat's host Jake was incredibly kind and helpful, he has built something very special on the river. Our dog Luna had the time of her life too! This spot is definitely worth coming back for - next time we can't wait to try the sauna precinct.

Beautifully designed with magical views, a huge deck, a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable and unique furniture and lots of entertainment. Loads of space for a family of 4. The book collection alone is extraordinary

Perfect getaway to unwind your mind and rejuvenate your soul. Jake, the host was very sweet, welcoming and knowledgeable about the place and its history. He took care of our every need with perfection and also showed us the surrounding Islands and waterfall. The stay exceeded my expectations in all manner. The Sauna was the highlight for us.
