The view is gorgeous and we recommend watching the sunrise with a cup of morning Joe from the balcony. We also enjoyed the fact that we could use the pool from the adjoining bluenose inn after a long day of hiking.

This gem of a motel has everything you could ask for: warm, welcoming staff, beautiful views over Bar Harbor, and all the comforts you might need. Truly a place that stands above the rest – in every sense.

Nice unit. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfasts at the Glass House restaurant - but this adds considerably to the daily cost. Made use of the Island explorer buses which picked up just outside our unit.
