It is located in a cute area within the town, close to rice fields. The owners and staff were welcoming and nice and very helpful. They helped me when I had a problem with my transport. The food is great and it is also super clean.

Banana homestay was a great place to stay. If your seeing Ijen stay another night and see some local sights. Fryda took me for a tour, just down the road is a food process factory that is worth seeing and the museum and local farms producing coconut, coffee, cloves, rubber, and endless more on such rich soil. Fryda introduced me to Durian (the king of fruits) everyone needs to try it. The service a t banana homestay is top level. Thank you Fryda for honesty and great service 🙏

The family is super friendy and helpful there. The breakfast was nice. The homestay has a nice atmosphere. They helped me to book the Ijen tour with a great guide. I highly recommend to choose this place.
