We liked the spacious room and balcony very much as well as the host who didn’t have a problem with our later check-out free of charge as the hotel was practically empty except for us.

The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and convenient nonetheless. We were welcomed by—if I’m not mistaken—the owner, who let us choose between two rooms. Our reservation included breakfast, and I can’t even begin to describe how tasty the traditional mekitsa was. The hotel is located in the city center, making it very easy to get everywhere. The restaurant is amazing, with a detailed, thoughtful interior and truly delicious dishes. The service went above and beyond.

Wonderful place with the best restaurant and staff. Very clean and comfy rooms. The kitchen serves the best traditional food I ever tasted. If you visit Bansko I recommend you to stay in Matsurev Han because there you can meet wonderful people that treats you very well and eat delicious foods while relaxing.

We were a family of 5 and stayed for 5 nights. The guy from reception was great as he even changed one of our rooms because of a misunderstanding from Booking (booked 2 matrimonial rooms and one twin). It was really clean, cozy and had everything we needed in our rooms. The bathroom is a bit small, but it worked for us and the cleanliness was really important. Also, the area was nice and quiet, even though it's like 30 minutes of walking distance from the gondola lift. You can park your car safely at the hotel and they also have a designated room for your ski gear.
