I loved my stay at Ida, the staff were super helpful and the room was very comfortable for two people. The hotel is only a short walk from the gondola, maybe 10 minutes max. It's close to lots of restaurants and bars, and if you don't want to go out Bar Danny is great for dinner and drinks. It's great value for money and I will definitely come back. Tip: They'll recommend you go to Ski360 for your ski rentals to get 20% off if you stay at Hotel Ida. I took them up on this and it was great. They are located directly opposite the Gondola and allow you to store your equipment there overnight. This means you can ski right up until about 20 metres away, store your skis, boots and helmet there, and then walk back to the hotel in your dry shoes and clothes. Your gear will be ready for pickup the next morning. Super convenient.

We loved Danny’s hospitality, professionalism, knowledge of the area, ability to arrange transport to and from Sofia airport, and booking us a table at a fantastic local traditional table for dinner. The rooms have exactly what you need, they are clean, cosy and warm enough for your ski gear to dry overnight, after a wet snowy day. The pool, sauna and gym are not luxurious, but they are perfect enough to unwind and relax after you ski. The Mexican food is on point, the cocktails are delicious. And the rest of the staff, Galin and Danaya are super friendly and hospitable! We would love to go back to Bansko, and if we do, we will certainly go back to Danny’s Hotel Ida. Thank you for making our holiday extra comfortable and special.
