Mary our host made our trip not only at Yoyo Kunda but our first time in Gambia easy and memorable. She provided a lot of tips about navigating the local area and things to keep in mind. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. With security always being onsite we felt very safe. It was a true home away from home. Our trip ended with us feeling like we were leaving behind long last family members. A big thank you to Kaba, Ousman, Bubacarr1 & Bubacarr 2, the lovely ladies that kept our apartment in tip top shape and to Johnny for being our unintended tour guide/driver we would not have enjoyed our trip without you all. Thank you all for putting up with our madness at times, I will definitely be returning in the near future. Keep up the good work.

The location of the place is easy to access, the place is very spacious and the facilities are all modern. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I stayed there for 2 weeks with my family of five and we loved every minute of the stay.

The staff were really good! Thank you to everyone who made our stay more accommodating! Any requests or issues we had were attempted to be answered and fixed immediately. The bedrooms are a great size and I fell in love with how comfortable the orthopaedic mattress were (however some of my family members prefer much firmer mattresses so keep this in mind when you’re booking longer stays.) The open plan living room was the perfect size and the staff are very relaxed towards you entertaining guests or friends you meet in Gambia. This was a huge bonus for us because you start to feel you’re in your own home away from home! Normally parking spaces can be very difficult to find but there was plenty of free private parking spaces outside the apartments. We rented a car during our stay but for some journeys we were able to capitalise on their own recommended drivers that are always on hand to take you anywhere you want to go immediately.
