Tastefully decorated small hotel in a central but quiet location. We were impressed with the staff and particularly Zen. They were warm without intrusive, gave practical advice for our first steps in Bangkok. It felt almost like visiting friends. Breakfast and meals at the restaurants were delicious.

The hotel decor and style is fantastic. There are so many interesting things to look at. The rooms are lovely and the hotel is very clean. Our old teenage kids enjoyed sleeping in bunk beds in their room, like they were little kids again. The staff are great and took care of everything from helping with taxis, early breakfasts, what's in the local area and recommendations for what to do. The location is ideal for exploring the old town and getting onto the river. Lots of attractions like the Grand Palace are 10 mins walk away. The immediate area has some great restaurants and cafes but the hotel is in a quiet street. Would highly recommend and would stay there again.

A teeny tiny lovely hotel not far from the most historical spots in Bangkok. The main temples are a mere 5 minutes tuktuk ride away. The hotel has a very distinct atmosphere, at the same time Thai, colonial and somehow with a hint of Wizard of Oz style, and works also as an excellent tea house. Our room was spotless, and I really enjoyed the tough mattress, made my sleep very good. Service is fantastic, everyone is so nice and the breakfast is amazing (be sure to try the French toast!). Would absolutely come back!
