Room was comfortable and the shower was good. Breakfast was what I'd normally expect; Standard full-English options plus cereals, croissants etc. Tea, coffee, juice. Main reason for booking was the location.

Great location, in middle of town centre. Our room was clean and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast hot and good choice. Staff at breakfast were extremely hard working and friendly. Lady on reception all weekend was lovely, helpful and friendly. (19th/ 21st July) Thank you all for a great stay 😊

We love the Whately and have stopped for years now. It is very sad the rooms are in need of some tlc, but a beautiful old building with a super garden. With a full time Gardiner it would be like a private park. Don't let us lose this gem. We realise that the hospitality business is having a hard time. Keep up the good work
