Nam is the most gracious and hard working host i have met, the village is very quiet but if that's what you want i highly recommend Ma Lay resort.

Breakfast is plentiful. The accommodation is right on the sea. The view is very nice and quiet. It is near the pier to Koh Samui. There is a small grocery store in front of the accommodation. The owner is kind.

The views are spectacular. Best views of our trip! Nam our host was so accommodating from scooters, to laundry to catering to our breakfast and dietary needs. She is so kind and nice and speaks great English. The area is so close to the ferry and great restaurants in the area. Some people may find the area older and not brand sparkling new. We even got a hair cut & shave with Kear down the road. Lol. Nam has water and coffee and fruit out at all times. Her and her mom own the mini Mart across the street so you can grab any essentials you may be missing along with drinks and snacks.

It was clean and comfortable. The staff went over and beyond with little treats , helping with travel arrangements and always available with a smile, perfect for a stop over.
