Very impressed as a solo older female needing accommodation in Ban Phe before crosssing to Ko Samet but also an excellent mainland base as its facilities and staff are first class. Room was spacious, very comfortable bed, nice bathroom - everything new and tastefully thought through. Breakfast was a full buffet, not the continental I was expecting, of cooked Asian & Western fare served in a pleasant restaurant or outside in the garden - a lovely bonus! As was the pool and very pleasant staff. Highly recommended!

We stayed there to catch the big boat to Koh Samet the next morning and it worked out perfectly. The place was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a buffet. The staff were helpful and friendly. There were more amenities than we could use during our short stay. I did get to pet a baby goat and see some adorable bunnies. The revenue drove us to the pier to catch our boat.
