Lovely property very nicely updated and decorated. The Aga kept it nice and warm on a very stormy November weekend. There was an exceptional welcome pack to greet us. Beds were very comfortable, and lots of hot water (we needed it!). Ideally suited for climbing Bamford Edge and visiting the Yorkshire Bridge Inn. Top quality reading lights in the bedrooms which not all places have. All toiletries were top quality and in refillable bottles. Didn't manage to use the garden due to the weather but it would have been fine for our dog. Lovely views front and back. Georgie provided torches which were very useful on the dark evenings, and there's a light on the outside steps. Everything had been thought about and was brilliant!

We stayed at George’s cottage in Bamford last week and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect for exploring the Peak District — peaceful, scenic, and close to some fantastic walks and local spots. The cottage itself is beautifully presented and full of thoughtful touches that make it feel really special. Georgie has clearly put a lot of care into the place — from the cosy interior to the little extras that made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you, Georgie, for creating such a lovely retreat!

This cottage is a little slice of heaven! It's surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing views. It has its own little garden where you can sit peacefully listening to the birds (of which there are many, which we loved). Georgie keeps the place spotless and left so many thoughtful gifts (a lovely homemade cake, wine and bread among many other lovely touches. The decor is lovely and the beds are super-comfortable. Would definitely book again.
