We liked the facilities of the cottage and the relative closeness of Hathersage; the views were excellent and the cottage felt very homely.

This is a beautiful, cosy cottage in a perfect location for experiencing the Peak District. It’s a 20 minute walk from Hathersage railway station which worked well for us. The fact that there was a key safe to access the key meant that arriving late at 23:00 wasn’t an issue at all (we were glad we had torches though!). It was really nice to meet Sue who was absolutely lovely. Overall we had the perfect weekend at this cottage and we would highly recommend.

Perfect cosy place for a peaceful stay. The host is lovely. Not far from town and a good base for venturing further afield in the Dales.

I loved the fact the property was called charlottes cottage as this is my name, the location was incredible with local shops and restaurants etc all within a 3-9 minute drive! The property had a fully equipped kitchen which was ideal for our stay as we had planned to make breakfast and dinner of an evening and make lunch for our days out hiking. Very comfortable, very clean! Great location for what we wanted! All over fantastic stay would highly recommend to anyone!
