Absolutely brilliant lodge, very well equipped, everything we needed and generous supplies of all essentials e.g pump soap at every basin, extra toilet rolls, wine, biscuits, new rubber gloves even! Very comfortable beds, plenty of seating. Can't fault this place at all. 70 miles in to our journey home we realised that we had left something behind, after contacting Sykes Cottages , we had a phone call from Donna the owner who was happy to post the item to us. Exceptional customer care.

Property was maintained to a high standard, lovely bright open space and excellent location (so peaceful and facing open countryside). Property had everything you could need for a family holiday. Host contacted us directly to check everything was okay which was very thoughtful.

Loved the location and the proximity to Bamburgh, just a 30 minute walk along the public footpath.
