Large, modern, comfortable room with amazing views over the town. Everything worked well, although the room lighting could have been better. Plenty of parking, helpful reception (although only until 17:00) and a very good (although pricey) breakfast. As other contributors had said, it is at the top of a hill but taken at a steady pace it is quite walkable.

Nice hotel with great value for money. Pet-friendly (for an extra fee), large free on-site parking, clean and cozy rooms. The city center is very close — only a 5-minute drive to the main cathedral. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Bamberg.
