“Superb”

From the very first moment, I felt the incredible coziness and warmth of this place. The rooms are very comfortables. I especially want to highlight the wonderful garden, which has direct access. The garden is full of greenery and flowers, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. But most importantly, the hosts are truly remarkable. It is rare to meet such wonderful and hospitable people. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay. I will definitely come back here again!

“I recommend this beautifully restored grand brick manor house, the lovely and attentive hosts made me feel very welcome,”

Beautifully restored old manor house. everything very straightforward once there.

“Very basic, but very friendly people”

I like that the location is an old monastary from 1615. The rooms are basic but clean.

“Lovely tranquil location and attractive building with comfortable accommodation.”

If you need to go to Toulouse or the station or airport, I strongly recommend staying at Le Manoir St. Clair as is it infinitely worth a taxi ride from the station etc., to stay at a place with character and charm as well as comfort. It leaves the airport hotel standing! If coming with a vehicle, the parking is easy, level and spacious. The building is an attractive heritage building with features intact, and whilst much of it has been modernised (no crumbly old stone or the faint scent of ancient wood or any of those patina-of-time features which some people, ourselves included, delight in) but the actual structure of arched windows, curving stair, classical gardens, beams etc. are retained, just very bright and clean (as is often the case when farther away from deep countryside and nearer an urban hub). The renovations are in keeping, and the furniture, lighting etc. are tasteful and stylish (if again, not 'vintage' as in tarnished old bronze etc.). The gardens had a pleasing view of the sunset, and would be delightful to sit out in, in warm weather. The pool looked as if was very welcoming at the end of a hot day, had it been summer. The Manoir was quiet and tranquil, and away from the noise and hustle of the city, whilst being not far from it, in suburbs which presumably were once villages and parts of country estates around the city. Our room was comfortable and warm with attractive arched windows looking onto the garden, and handy access to a kettle in the conservatory to make drinks with. The bathroom was great, with a lovely big semicircular window, restored stonework and a good big bath with lots of hot water. There was also a large separate shower. Breakfast was good, with coffee, croissants, fresh baguette, confitures, honey, yogurt, granola etc. and freshly squeezed orange juice. The hosts were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.
