The hotel was great. Clean and the rooms were a decent size. The shower drain was slow, so I had to have a quick shower. I liked the small communal kitchen and lounge that had supplies. Breakfast was great, very filling.

The Full Irish breakfast was excellent with what seemed to be locally sourced products coupled with a very good standard of service. The room was very well thought out with all the facilities on site that you could wish. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

The rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food options available. Dinner was superb with a menu that had so many delicious dishes to cater for all. The communal kitchen/lounge area in the B&B was a nice area to make a cuppa and sit and have a chat. All staff that we met in the B&B were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again when we next visit Ballina. Thanks to all staff at the Merry Monk
