“Nature”
31 Mar 2025
The location was perfect as we love nature, animals and being alone . We went out at night looking at possums🐿️ kangaroos 🦘 and during the day there were birds singing and emus wandering around It was very quiet and felt like it was just us most of the time . We did however have to go back into manjimup 30 mins drive as there wasn't any toilet paper 🧻 or body wash at the property not sure if this was just a mistake on housekeeping and didn't ruin our stay it did need a few more basic essentials like more pegs and washing powder or liquid for use of the washing machine.but overall was a very peaceful stay.

“Slice of heaven in the midst of nature”

The door looked a bit dated which is understandable as this is a pretty old cottage. However the charm inside was fabulous and the entire area was so nice, peaceful and absolutely stunning. Full stocked pantry was a bonus.

“Cute cottage retreat”

Cosy little cottage to connect with nature. Emus and kangaroos surround the property. Very peaceful. A good place to escape from the hustle and bustle.

“Superb”

This place is different from anywhere else I have ever been to. A cottage in the woods with no one around for miles, apart from other guests/residents in the other cottages. It was so quiet here, OMG, and at night, we could see the Milky Way (not too many locations on Earth left where you can do that). The nearest town is 20 kms away, for grocery shopping, but also that was really quiet. It was a salve for my frayed nerves after living in a big city. We spent Christmas here, and I prepared a home made meal because the kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The porch and interior of the cottage resemble what I imagine the homes of the first settlers to have looked like.
