Nice and warm and very easy to control the boiler thermostat. Kitchen equipment excellent. Cooker sloghtly fiddly until you got ythe hang of it but excellent onne you did. View was lovely, including horses and alpacas! The flowing stream was a bonus but didn't hear it at night. Fridge huge, plenty of storage, high quality itensils, plates , mugs etc.

Our stay at Dale View cottage was wonderful. We travelled as a party of 4 from different regions and found the cottage to be just perfect. Spacious bedrooms that have been beautifully decorated. The soft furnishings, curtains and picture details were stunning. You can tell the cottage has been lovingly prepared for guests. The bathroom was a great size and fantastic to have both bath and shower options. Towels provided which was a fantastic addition. Both rooms had excellent storage and fantastic views of the surrounding area. The cottage is quaint, peaceful and everything you could want for a relaxing break away. Well situated with lots of local walking routes nearby. The kitchen is of a high standard with all modern essentials. Thank you for the milk in the fridge, a very kind gesture! The seating area is cosy and perfect for nights in cooking. The living room space is again spacious and has all essential items for a relaxing chill out. Netflix enabled TV a bonus! The patio doors look out to the lawn and again very zen. Very little passing traffic. Zero light pollution so dark, is dark. Which makes for an undisturbed sleep. A huge bonus for us was finding a home away from home that is dog friendly. Note, garden not enclosed but advertised on the listing and not an issue for us at all. Parking was ample for the two cottages side by side. And no noise from the neighbours, hard to believe we were attached to anyone. Would highly recommend and will look to return in the summer. Great to see the blacksmith workshops in action and keen to return as a family to take part in one.
