Conveniently located in centre of Bakewell for the town, Monsal Trail, Peaks, Chatsworth and Sheffield - lovely welcome pack and good contact from owners

Everything was perfect. We arrived slightly early and were granted access which was much appreciated. We were a group doing a charity walk on the Saturday and the location of the house was perfect.

We absolutely LOVED Church Cottage - it was so perfect in every way ... beautifully decorated ... well equipped kitchen ... full of character ... made our time in Bakewell all the more special by having such a homely and welcoming cottage to come back to. Great having our own parking space. We loved the personal touches from our host including the welcome cake and eats. We enjoyed the church bells beside us, especially the bell practice on Thursday evening. Location was just perfect - within walking distance round the town and we loved the food in the nearby Rutland Hotel that we ate there 3 nights in a row. Would highly recommend a stay here and would stay here again.
