Church Cottage is wonderfully quirky. It is surprisingly spacious, witch two sitting rooms and a basement ‘chill out’ space. The three bedrooms, spaced over two floors, are big and very well furnished. The kitchen has been refitted to a very high standard. The location is perfect for exploring the delightful town of Bakewell. We stayed with two sets of friends to celebrate a significant birthday, and were delighted to find that the host had left us a bottle of fizz and some chocolates. Wonderful weekend!

Lovely cottage, the welcome bakewell tart in the kitchen was a nice touch!(thank you!). Lots of comfortable seating althought the lovely newly furnished kitchen, which has everything you need was the main stay of activity for us as was very comfortable. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Be careful when putting in the numbers on the key box- they really need to align perfectly or it wont open! All in all fantastic stay, fantastic location in the centre of Bakewell with parking for two cars so was a great bonus. Plus on the day of leaving we were able to leave our car for a few hours as we did some last minute shopping.
