The owner, Koos, is so cool. I walked in after 10 hours of driving and within 15 minutes I had a double margarita in my hands, listening to jazz music and looking out at the beautiful Ecuadorian countryside. One hour later, I had a great pizza and slept like a baby for 10 hours. Magical.

The location was fine as a base , most of what I wanted was in the surrounding countryside. The attached Pizzeria has good pizza, Koos, the proprietor is friendly and informative.

Beautifully hand crafted cabins in an exotic garden. Convenient position for old Baeza, birder and kayaker hangouts. Footpath direct to waterfalls and birds. Wonderful kind and knowledgeable host. Thanks Koos!
