The family enjoyed our couple of nights. First impression was underwhelming. The house when we drove up was covered in dust and cobwebs and also the verandah. Inside was pleasant but some parts could do with an update such as worn paint. An information booklet would be helpful and had trouble getting normal channels on the smart tv. All places we have stayed also have the coffee, tea, sugar sachets and little milks in the fridge which are great if you turn up late and want a cuppa. Maybe consider that as an extra touch. I would also recommend putting towel rails in the bathrooms. After showering there is nowhere to put them. The bed was very comfortable though.

A lovely warm, inviting home that just needs a few extra things tweaked to make it a standout. The property doesn’t have a microwave, there was no tea or coffee, and the TV doesn’t have any free to air channels. These are things that can easily be fixed and would significantly improve the property. The wood heater also wasn’t working, but we knew about that before our arrival. Hopefully it gets fixed soon as we would love to stay again.

While the atmosphere was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the area was nice and quiet, we did experience several issues during our stay.
