A charming, old-style hotel with touches of modern comfort, located in the historic part of Baden. It’s easy to reach from Baden Bahnhof via bus 306 or 308. There are also many good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic, with prosecco served on the weekend, which was a nice touch. The hotel restaurant offers solid Austrian dishes for lunch or dinner. The staff at the restaurant are warm and professional. We also enjoyed the sauna and the small but functional gym with a treadmill. One highlight was the bar downstairs—DJ Franz brings amazing energy, and there’s proper ballroom dancing with a great crowd. It made the stay feel special.

We stayed at Hotel Sacher Baden and our experience was extremely pleasant from the very beginning. An early check-in was kindly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. The rooms were spotlessly clean, cozy, warm, and fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We were especially delighted that our dogs were more than welcome – they were greeted with their own bed and bowls in the room, which is a truly thoughtful and rare touch. Special praise goes to the gentleman at the reception desk as well as the gentleman who prepared our rooms. The receptionist was exceptionally kind, professional, and always ready to help, offering many useful tips and recommendations that made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel has a rich history that can be felt in every detail, and the atmosphere is incredibly warm, welcoming, and heartfelt, making guests feel truly at home. The location is perfect – close to Vienna, yet far enough away to enjoy peace, quiet, and beautiful nature. Highly recommended – we will definitely be back!
