On our arrival and throughout our stay we were made to feel very welcome. Four of us stayed at the hotel and we all said that we thought the breakfast was very good. It was a typical Bavarian breakfast with fresh bread rolls, good coffee, etc and with plenty lovely seating areas to choose from. The hotel is situated a short walk from the lake and other shops and restaurants. We have stayed in other hotels nearby but this is now our favourite. We will be back.

Outstanding, nice location at Tegernsee, comfortable clean, big room with a view, relaxing atmosphere. The owner and staff was very, I mean very friendly and kind, rare in these days. Despite I had things to do in Munich, Askania was a perfect location to stay away from the city. It is only 50 min drive to reach Munich by car, and also there is a commuter train from nearby Gmund to Bavaria's capital.

Cosy family owned and maintained hotel. Building 100 yr old and looks really nice. Breakfast moderate in options but everything really tasty
