The location is perfect to reach different areas since it is next to steeg gosau bahnhof (train & bus station). (Ps you do not hear ant train or bus from your room). From here we went to hallstat (went by train and got back by bus) ..we also went to wolfgangsee and st gilgen ( by bus and by train). Always check the last bus and train if you are travelling by public transport only. (download the obb app and the obb scotty to see timetable) The area is very relaxing, peaceful and quiet. They treat you like family. They speak italian and english as well. Staying at one of these houses is now checked from my bucket list. If you are not driving check restaurant nearby ...they close at 9. If you are looking for something peaceful, we highly recommend this place. We will visit again for sure.

It’s not like a hotel, it’s like you stay with your friends or closes. Rosy and her husband were super friendly, hospitable and positive! Facilities were exceptional, every necessary detail was well-thought-about. So tasty breakfast with cakes, handmade by Rosy! Location is convenient for traveling to Hallstatt and Salzburg, all public transport stops are in front of the hotel. The only regret is that we had just one night there.

We loved staying here. Only regretted not staying longer. The hosts are lovely people and the breakfast was delicious :) Highly recommended!
