The village of Landau was a bit unique and very interesting for its very old half timbered houses, but you need a car to get there. The accommodation section of the hotel was OK but it seems to have been while since it was refurbished.

The pension is nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly. The water pressure in the shower was exceptionally good!
